My Major in Animal Science

It was not that easy deciding my major for I wanted a major that would benefit me a lot as a person and what I would enjoy. Animal Science was the only thing that caught much of my interest even though I understood it to be a tough major to succeed in. Even though it’s a major that is tough to tackle, I decided to go with this one only because I enjoy working with other animals and understanding much about them.

When I was thinking about what I wanted to do for a major, Animal Science came to mind during my freshman year of high school for one off my class assignments. It took a few years to figure out that Animal Science is not to be taken lightly when studying it. Even so, I wanted to do it because my dog and the animals I looked after and seen became the very inspiration for me to want to do this and made take a course of Companion Animal Science in my junior year of high school.

Besides Animal Science, English was another I took interest in for I enjoyed reading lots of stories from a couple of books and from friends that wrote some. I also try to improve myself on my vocabulary a lot so that when I write essays that I can use more impactful words to keep peoples attention what I am trying to convey to them. (242)
